Brought to life by the same production team that created the Ultraman series, Iron King is a 26-episode serio-comic superhero adventure packed with outrageous characters, colorful visual effects and non-stop action - featuring music by Shunsuke Kikuchi (Dragon Ball Z). The cocky singing cowboy, Gentaro Shizuka (Shoji Ishibashi), is a secret agent with Japan's National Security Forces, who travels the countryside hunting down terrorist organizations that plot to overthrow the government. Gentaro is joined in his mission by a clumsy hiker named Goro Kirishima (Mitsuo Hamada), who is really a member of National Security sent to protect him. But Gentaro's seemingly inept sidekick has another secret: the ability to transform into the giant, hydro-powered cyborg, Iron King! So now, Gentaro and Goro join forces to keep the peace of Japan secure!
